About Super Kicks

Here at Super Kicks we strive to build confidence, social skills, and motor skills in a non-competitive environment!

Our program isn't intended to build a superstar athlete. Instead, using positive reinforcement from peers, parents, and coaches, we intended to help your child develop confidence and grow their sense of self-esteem.

Your Coach

My experience working with children and families dates back to the year 2000 after graduating from the University of Hartford with a B.A. in Psychology. My first employer was the Department of Children and Families as a Social Worker.

In 2001, I decided to become a Licensed Real Estate Agent and was able to help families in a different manner by guiding and advising them to purchase their dream home. Seventeen years later, I have become, a Licensed Real Estate Broker, but also the co-founder of Our Home Realty Advisors.

During this transition of becoming a Realtor, in 2008 I continued my passion to assist families by providing parenting education, support, improvement in family function, and crisis management by becoming an in-home therapist for a non-profit agency, Klingberg Family Centers.

In 2011, my life took me in yet another direction. I became a mother to our beloved, Lolia for whom has given me the inspiration to continue my passion to working with children and families.

After a short hiatus, I returned to Klingberg Family Centers in 2013, as a an Assistant Youth Coordinator for a One-on-One Mentoring Program that collaborates with the Department of Children and Families and committed youth either residing in foster care, group home or in a residential setting.

Throughout my childhood and into adolescence I have been fortunate to have had my parents support for my athletic participation in Soccer and Tennis. I have played both sports since a young age of 4 and also pursued Field Hockey in High School. I obtained recognition as an All Conference player and was rewarded Second All-State in Connecticut in Field Hockey.

Needless to says sports have been a big part of my life. I believe sports has made a big impact in providing me with such great rewards such as; lifting my self-esteem, self-confidence, and being able to work with my peers. Sports have been a major contributor that has helped my career, success, and relationships with others.

Super Kicks is the culmination of my passion for people in need and Sports. My goal is to continue to provide support and assistance to children in our community in a capacity that is comfortable and non-competitive for those who attend.
